Ok couple of id questions. Yellow spine on cover. Is this og 93? My copy has all codes and matrix of original pressing but has yellow spine cover. The little wu symbol book logo above the sword on the actual records paper disk label has anyone noticed the original is a bit less refined and only has 'wu tang' in the seperation where the reissues and later pressings have 2 line 'wu tang clan' in the symbol? Except the '90s' repressing that has all the same codes of the original pressing has the same logo as original pressing but is aparantly with matt colored center disk label and the original is with glossy? The pics of these 2 releases are a bit confusing to show that difference.
I'm pretty sure I got that original 1st one. The Numbers and everything else are original as written here. Like this: Barcode (Back sleeve, text): 0 7863-66336-1 9Barcode (Labels side A & B, text): 0 1 9Barcode (String): 19Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, etched, variant 1): 6-1-A-1-DMM SP 1- HFM cgMatrix / Runout (Runout side B, etched, variant 1): 6-1-B-1-DMM SP 1-It's that etched stuffthta's exacct this one.The pics are identical only the side of the cover is yellow, not black. Is the cover of the original 1st press is yellow on the side?
Or are there both, black and yellow? The represses have sometimes yellow. The last 180gram from 'We Are Vinyl' has also a yellow side, for example. I think it's the right 1st one. I got it in 96 in Germany.
I really can't understand why they didn't even care bout the numbers to difference the pressings better. You gotta open it to know. There's no other way. I guess I sell it.
Still in shrink. Not even played very much.
Maybe 5 times. I started I started liking that stuff when I got only CD's for while. I don't get it that there isn't in 26 years one really good 180gram 2 disc copy in a gatefold cover with printed sleeves and download. Mastered by Bernie Grundman nd the RZA. Somehow VERY STRANGE to me!! I read my EU-Release is from 2016. Unfortunately are there only 2 releases in 2016 and neither of them is mine.
It's a 'We Are Vinyl' 180gram press incl Download. I really like We Are Vinyl cause almost all 180gram releases got the same matrice numbers as Music On Vinyl from the same record for this release. The example: Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, etched): 84776 2A MOVLP215 and also the same Barcode: Barcode (Text): 8 1 2. I haven't found anything else so it's my Imagination that maybe some of those editions got this 'Legacy' hayper stickers on and some maybe the We Are Vinyl stickers. The original 'Music On Vinyl' release was 2015.
So when should this other from 2016 have been released then. Music On Vinyl release their stuff in 180 gram first. You hardly find any release from We Are Vinyl on 180gram before Music On Vinyl arlready had one out. That's the reason they can use thise matrices from them. This release is certainly between 2016 - 2019.
But here on discogs seems to be no We Are Vinyl edition at all. Condensed matter journal. If anybody knows what's it about. Please tell me.
