The fee for ECMspy is once per ECM, so if you have two bikes you would need to pay twice, but you can do whatever you want unlimited on those after that. If you swap in a Race ECM you would need to pay again, so keep that in mind if you plan on getting one. HP Tuners is similar how it works, you have to buy a credit to unlock each vehicle you use it on, but once unlocked you can do whatever you want.

Version 2 of spy is what I use mostly and after a while, since I don't travel much, it's as good as it is gonna get.Next step at next motor roll, I'll pull header and get a 02 bung welded in front header pipe and might consider wide band sensors to continue learning curve to tune front and rear together.

Unless you buy a pipe or a whole system, it's hard to find trusty maps for still stock setups. Then it still needs tweaking I've got my rear cylinder pretty much dialed in with narrow band sensor but I'm not so sure what to do with the front until I get a sensor in that header.Any ideas are welcome from the masses out there. Some say to copy, paste rear to front and add 2 over that across entire map.

That conversion of voltage to exhaust gas oxygen lets you know what your mixture is. Anywhere from 12 to say 17.The paid verson of megalog viewer will support a panel of other settings beside 14.7 stoichmetric. So you can tune the whole map to what you want, not just the closed loop area. Narrowband sensors read 0-1 volts and widebands read 1-5 volts.In the end, once whole map is what you want, then you wind up back to narrowband with your ecm for normal operation.

Some folks tune maps without running o2 sensor later. But then the adjustibility of the system is no longer there. Thats ok for the person that stays in a geographic area and doesnt worry about altitude or changing weather conditions.Thats why the afv is a dynamic thing. It will slightly change as you ride under different conditions. In the end, a bought ecm from ids is the best way to go for the average rider.All this other stuff can get a person into trouble and can kill the bike. I play with this stuff as they say old people need to exercise their brains. I like learning new stuff and being able to help others if i can.

Then download the tunrepro and the Xdf file that matches your ecm.You can convert the.xrp file to a Tunerpro file by renaming the.xpr to.bin. From there you have full power to read and write to your ecm.

Much more power than any other tuner has provided. It takes a few minutes to figure out but with a post i have somewhere else it explains a few things and you can be on your way to easy tuning.
